I find it amazing that some people cannot grasp that flash is useful, indeed essential, in a lot of shooting situations. Sure if you are shooting black and white outdoors it isn't but use my M in a lot of low light situations where more light, or cleaner light is essential to get a publishable image of the subject I am hired to photograph.
