Couldn't make it myself. In any event, later that day, I was surprised to be greeted by Ernst Hartman at Leica Northvale where he informed me that there was no Leica Exhibit at the Expo. The reasons now escape me! In any event there was Ernst in his white coat looking very professional, with usual enthusiasm, at Leica headquarters in NJ, while the Expo some twenty miles away was going strong in Manhattan (?) My trip to Leica was to pick up my M5 (converted and calibrated to accept the more readily available 1.5 volt alkaline battery), and my R5 (self timer repair). Best of Leicas, Leon LP6@aol.com
