I wouldn't dare to discount the Minilux or Minilux Zoom as serious 
Leicas. Of course, they are not conventional Leicas in the sense the M 
and R are. But they fit the bill perfectly for what they are meant.
Following such reasoning you could aslo say that the Nikon 35 and 28 Ti 
are not serious Nikons...
;-)
