Erwin Puts,

First & foremost, another great report on a superlative
lens. I've filed this report away as well. Now for several
comments, & please bear in mind that I'm in a great
mood & would like to mix humor with serious inquiry ;-)!

>>Important characteristic of the A-T is its superior<<
>>clarity of exceedingly fine detail.......almost lifelike<<
>>rendition of very small subject details.............that<<
>>Leica M-users are well served & now can produce<<
>>the envy of R-users...........in the medium telelens<<

The medium/classical telephoto range is very important
to me. Your descriptions sound like what I've been getting
with my R triple threat trio (hereafter to be labeled as R(3t));
a.) 100mm apo Macro. b.) 180 f2.8 apo. c.) 280 f4 apo.

I'm so happy that you M-users maaay now enjoy what we
R-users have been experiencing, alllll this time, with
our R(3t) optics. Running for cover...........>>>>>>>>>.
Please note the smileys! &>) @ (&>))

And last, but not "least", R-users can actually see what
they are focusing on, in the medium telelens range.
OmygawdIactuallysaidit! Brian Reid, am I still going
to be kept on the list (&>))!
