Subject: [Leica] polyphotogearism

Polyphotogearism: 1) Tending to hold deep-seated opinions and prejudices
about a wide range of photographic subjects but particularly gear; 2) wanton
lusting after multiple generations of the same focal-length lens; 3)
insatiable yearning to own multiple bodies, lenses, viewfinders, hoods,
filmbacks, etc. 4) irrational need to persuade spouse of the virtues of
owning multiple formats with a full complement of lenses and accessories for
each; 5) possessing a scrupulously detailed knowledge of the technical and
historical minutiae of ones favorite brand; 6) tendency to defend all of the
above to the verbal death.

Experts agree that the most virulent outbreaks are often observed with Lecia
owners.

Count me among the afflicted.

Hope everyone this side of the pond and border had a cheery Thanksgiving.
The rest of you just don't know what you're missing. All that food and no
obligation to spend money on presents for other people.

Cheers
Kevin Hoffberg
