Belated response to this thread, but I just stumbled across it in 
*my* archives!  8^)

My 6.2 does likewise! Once I was convinced that it was a no 
harm, no foul situation, I just let it ride!

I think I understand a mechanical shutter escapement mechanism 
making similar noises on slow speeds, but it is puzzling to hear it 
at 1/250 sec. Wonder if they had something planned but, as yet, 
not implimented?
