Consider the Pentax line too. Pentax 928; small, good lens, and a useful zoom
range: 28 to 90mm. It is rare to find a zoom P&S with such a wide angle--most
start around 35 or 38mm. Another good possibility in the Pentax line are the WR
models. They are water resistant. I just bought the 115WR model for my wife; its
zoom is 38-115mm. Price around $200 at B&H in NYC.
