for the M3.

The Hove publication is a reprint of the official Leitz manual, so it
would answer all your questions.

For more information, check to see if your public library has (or can
get on loan from another library) either of the following books:

"The Leica Manual" (Morgan & Morgan)

"The Leica Way" (Andrew Matheson)

Both were published in many revised editions through the 1960s and
1970s, and any edition from around 1955 onwards will cover the M3.
