Greg, The Leica M6TTL brochure is dated from April 1998 ! And the M6 TTL advert was used in September in other magazine. BTW, that's one the problem with Pop Photo, the two months delay. A Photokina report in December ! ;-) To be really fair their was a fifth of page about the M6 TTL in the Photokina report.(Pop Photo 12/98) And their was a mention about it at the end of the 'old' M6 test/report.
