Do the vast majority of Leica owners shoot at middle apetures? It seems from this group, a lot of us shoot wide open. Since I moved my Nikon and Bronica stuff to the back of the cupboard 4 years ago when I got my M3 I seem to wish for faster film and faster lenses. I live in the Toronto area and for the winter months, it is dark outside when I leave for work and dark when I get home. If I do any outdoor shooting, I need speed. Inside my house with the normal household lights on, the brightest it gets is 1/30 at f2 with ISO 400, a lot of the time it is 1/8 at f2. The fastest lens I currently own is my 75mm Summilux. I lust after f1 50mm and f1.4 35mm but I have a bunch of 4X5, MF and maybe Nikon stuff to sell before I have the cash. My two cents..
