Subject: RE: [Leica] How to Determine Dioper

Bud asked:

My wife wears glasses and has some trouble with the viewfinder of the
Minilux. I understand there are two dioper's available for it, plus 1 and
minus 1. Is there some method of determining which might help by using her
eye glass
prescription?

If your wife is nearsighted, she would benefit with the (-) minus corrective
lens. If she is farsighted, she would benefit from the (+) plus corrective
lens. If she is very farsighted or very near sighted, she may not benefit
from either.

The best way to determine if a corrective lens will help is to review her
prescription for glasses. If you have access to this, please email me or
you could even fax it to my office. My office fax is 610-430-2079. I could
then read it and give you some idea of what can be done to help her.

I wish I could give you more information but my advice would be tenuous at
best without knowing her prescription for glasses.
