Ted,

With all due respect, that was 10 years ago.  Yes, perhaps you and your R8
will do well at the 2000 Olympics, but again with all due respect I will bet
you are the sole user of a manual focus camera!  Yes, you will probably get
some great images, but so will the Canon and Nikon users.  Please don't take
this message the wrong way, I am only stating my opinion.  You are used to
your R8 and for you it works.  That's great!  For those that prefer a more
modern camera, there are choices.  That's all I am saying.
