[Leica] Selftimer - Warning

Purchased a selftime from Porters. . .a KALT. Nicely made and seemed to
work fine. Had a lot of difficulty adjusting the rod, i.e.: it always
seemed to have more downward momentum after the shutter fired,indicating,
to me, that the rod was penetrating too far - a situation that made me
nervous about damage to the shutter relase mechanism. I never could get the
adjustment right (I'm pretty capable with tools and things mechanical). I
called to return the item, and was told to keep it while receiving full
refund (credit card)!!
