Subject: [Leica] Help! Indecision..M4-P vs. CL and Adapters?

Hi there,

Brand new to the LUG; I'm purchasing my first Leica M in the next two
weeks. And herein is the quandry......
I have a good lead on a M4-P in user condition for about $600; seems
very nice! But, should I consider waiting for a clean CL..? Would love
to hear some opinions from actual shooters.
I'm a wedding/portrait shooter and have been using a Canon 7 with a
Nikkor 50/f2 in the low light.... It's only natural that I advance to a
Leica M.
And... if I use adapters (Leica screw mount to M Bayonet) on my screw
lenses, can one change lenses as quickly as regular M lenses? See, I
know nothing!
Are there any drawbacks to the SM to M adapters route?

thanks in advance-

Bob Keene
