Actually, John Van Stelten can repolish, recement and recoat the elements. I
have a couple I am getting ready to send, because they are cosmetically in
really nice shape, and I'd like to use them once they're done.
The criterium I use: - is it nice enough to keep and use? If I intend to
keep it, and it is nice- then I don't mind spending the money to have it
done right. It usually comes out cheaper than trying to FIND a good usable
old lens+ACE- Many older ones need cleaning anyway+ACE-
