It is true, it happened in Calgary, 14,500 CDN $ for a bottle of scotch,
aged about 45 years in a cask before it began leaking and they had to
bottle it. I have read in the newspaper that the bottle is being ransomed,
not sure what has happened since. I suspect Ted is innocent as he would
never leave warm Victoria for cold Calgary, and the bottle wouldn't be
around to be ransomned, Ted would have drank it all, while mixing it with
Sharpo, and cleaning lens with who knows what! :)
