Subject: [Leica] Using 2 cam lenses on an R3
From: Alex Hurst <corkflor@iol.ie>

Hi LUGnuts

For my two SLs, I have a range of excellent 2-cam lenses which I hope are
usable on my R3, albeit in stopdown mode.

Could some kind person give me a step-by-step idiots' guide on how to do it?

Specifically:

1) Can I use stopdown metering and then take the shot in program mode,
bearing in mind this is an aperture priority camera?

2) Or do I have to manually set the shutter speed and then meter?

Also, the three cam 50/2 Summicron (latish model with built-in hood) I
acquired with the R3 doesn't seem to want to fit on my SLs. Is this because
it's not supposed to? The SL lenses fit fine on the R3.

TIA for your help.

Slan

Alex
