Johnathan-
I had the same question- Marc assured me that the outer edges of the M3
viewfinder were pretty consistant with the coverage of the 35; Now I wear
glasses and have to 'look around' but he is right, and it is darn close. I
have had no problem doing that, which is good since I got a real deal on a
35 Summicron, the non-RF version  and it is a super lens! Enjoy!
