Hi Jim,

Of all the R equipment I've owned, the R7 has been the best and like the
pink energizer bunny, they just keep going.  The truth is, I have no honest
logical reason to have bought R8's when the R7's were working as new.:)
Actually my wife asked that very question when I unwrapped the first R8!

I set a record for quick thinking Leica logic! Very difficult for me.:) I
tried this.  "Well yes dear the R7's are still working fine. But the R8
with the new internal exposure computer mode and equivalent super active
focusing bright image ground glass screens, why my pictures are just going
to be perfect!" :)

Just don't ask what she responded with! :)
