    I agree with you. Although I'm rather new in the "mettier" I never =
had a good relationship with this (supposed to be wonderful) kodak =
invention: the T grain.=20
    Here in Argentina there is a tradition among elder photographers in =
relation to the legendary tri X pan. I don't really know if it is =
justified or not. I could never get a T max well developed. It's said =
that ID-11 or T-max developer at 24 celsius gives very good results. To =
this date I have only seen just one production acceptably done.
    On the other hand (I don't work for Ilford either) I use HP-5 and it =
has an extraordinary latitude and resistance to whatever mistake you =
could make while processing (except of course changing the order of the =
devoloper, stop bath and fixer!)
     And I have to add that these results are also extended to =
overprocessing up to 1600 ISO.
