I am a stock photographer, have been since the early 1980's, professional
since 1960.

Travel is one of the most difficult area to make a living, even recovering
investment can test ones ability.

Try to write articles that the pictures will illustrate and submit complete
projects to smaller regional publications, AAA mags, newspaper travel
sections, regional magazines.

The one important thing to remember is that you must restrict your sales to
editorial useage or you must obtain releases from the people or property you
are recording.

One resourse to explore is Ron Engh his website and his books. They contain
much needed information for openning the door to stock sales. Also the
Photographer's Market and Writer's Market.

Good luck,

Steven Alexander
