Mark,

I personally like the levity you bring to this group (and it could certainly
use some).
Perhaps you could call the new lens an Elmo-rit.

My dog is a 98 pound very dark German Shepard who goes by the name of
"Elmo." He is four years old and predated the doll craze by .5 year. His
precursor in this house was a white German Shepard named Prince who we
rescued from an abusive situation down the street. That's how we got
into German Shepards not through an obsession with all things German.
Elmo just a minute ago place a large soggy pull toy rope on my keyboard
as I type. I had to engage in this with him for a minute to finish the
sentence.
By far the best dog I've every had despite wanting to dominate every
situation every human every dog every object all the time. I thought
about naming him something less "cute" as he is not cute but
dramatically good looking, handsome. I can't take him for a walk with
out people pulling over in the cars to complement me or at last winking
through their windshields. The depth of his doggy intellect is
impressive. I grew up in my family with Springer Spaniels. Great dogs
but in terms of intellect a sad comparison.
Of course the only reason I said any of this in the first place is to
indicate how he guards the Hasselblads with equal diligence that he
guards the Leica's. I think that's quite magnanimous of him!
