The 14161 leads me to believe that this is an R lens. Yes? No?

I would not buy a lens that has fungus growing.

You should get a lens with s/n 2772619 or higher. These have E55 filter
threads.

I had one that I bought in 1976. Used it for 20 years. Loved it. Focus was
very smooth and easy.

I sold it after buying a 70-180 APO.
