Yep, let me second that idea!  OTOH, I figure that a nice LTM camera
with a 35/3.5 Elmar mounted is even smaller and neater.  Besides, I
for one rather like the look of the older lenses.

The trend, even in Leica, seems to be towards bigger.  The 35/2 APSH is
larger than the 25/3.  The 35/1.4 ASPH is larger than the 35/1.4.
The 21/2.8 (all versions) are larger than the 21/3.4.  The M6TTL is
larger than the M6.  Bad trend, if you ask me.
