I have been using the current Universal flip polarizer on a current rev 50mm
Summicron. Works just fine. All you need is the E39 adapter, which ships
with the polarizer kit.

Subject: [Leica] Polarizer on Summicron 5cm

I have the Polarizer 13352 and a new style Summicron 5cm lens (with a built
in lens cap). I can't get the polarizer to attach to the lens. Is there an
adapter? It goes on the front of my friend's old style Summi. Any help?
(The instruction book for my new style Summicron says that this is the
Polarizer to use).
