Spoke with Maxwell Precision Optics this AM about screens for the Rs.  
The removable screens (R4 thru R8) can be Hi-Lux processed for $40 plus $7
return shipping.
This takes 1-2 days in-house.  
Earlier Rs and SLs, screens should be removed (and later reinstalled after
processing) by technicia.  Same Hi-Lux process can be applied at the same
price.  
This is a very inexpensive way to gain far easier focusing with the slower
lenses.  
You WILL be pleased!
