I think the lens came in a series VII filter size prior to the E60.  As for
the APO 2x, it will work fine and give pretty decent results.  The lens
will be very slow though at F 6.8.  The APO 2x is fairly expensive used
(~$800) and you may be better off just getting one of the Leica tlephotos
instead of the converter.  For example the 400mm Telyt like Doug Herr uses
go for about about the same price as the converter when I see them listed
on Ebay.
