Timberland makes a wonderful waterproof leather shoulder bag...tabbed -
buckled straps - zippered outside back compartment...two outside front
compartments...it easily takes a three-compartment Billingham insert.
Granted, it's a long way from a diaper bag, and, leather isn't the lightest
material in the world...but it's tough, it's seriously water repellent, it
holds a lot of gear, and it's NOT a camera bag...

Other alternative, of course, which I've used in many forms over the year,
is just a canvas bag, like a Danish school bag, with some sort of padding in
it...I've even used cloth diapers....
