Let's see now. 400 print film or E200 @ 400. White water rafting, outdoors,
sunlight, blue sky or almost. This should be, say, 1/500 at f/16, or f/11.
Since the action is coming straight on, shutter speed is less important. So
1/250 @ f/22, f/16, f/11 would also work. It doesn't matter which lens you
are using, DOF is determined by the image size in the viewfinder. Assume
you want at some of the rapids in the pix. I'd hazard a guess that the
rafts are far enough away that you will have a difficult time taking an out
of focus photograph. DOF is a wonderful thing.

We don't need no stinkin' AF.
