Last year, at 18, my daughter bought an R7 and 70-210/4. I gave her a
35-70/3.5 (E67) for graduation and a 60/2.8 macro for her birthday. My
oldest son bought a Leicaflex SL & 50/2 (cheap beaters) when he was 15. At
17 he switched to an R3. He's 28 now and now has an R4sP & a 35/50/70-210
lenses.

No influence from me... ;-)
