Buzz,

I thought you were the one who thought " If one's point is only to impress,
a Mont Blanc will suffice." Considering an OMAS is 5 times the cost, does
that make it museum quality pretentious?
I will keep the Mont Blanc (a Leica M3?), I write with it. The Omas is too
costly (like a new M6) so it would only sit around collecting dust on a
shelf for fear of scratching it

        All true but the conclusion. In my opinion the M Leica of pens
is
the Omas Bibliotheque National (in ivory).

Well Buzz    ;
        i have to agree with you on that one, and just like the M6
titanium, 50 F1.0,  R8, 280 F 2.8, and 180 F 2.0 all out of my reach.
At the moment. But I still fanstisize about owning all of them one
day. Hey, I did a partial trade of a limited edition General MacArthur
Parker Big Red in the wooden presentation box, to get a mint chrome R6.
Fine writing instrucments and Leica are both satisfying instruments to
use, own, and hold.
