It sounds like a virus. I think it is one.
I find that when I say the words "e-bay" my lips make a funny sneering
motion and I don't like the way it looks when I catch my reflection in a
shiny object.
When someone first mentioned "e-bay" I had no idea what it was but I
knew I didn't like it. When I found out what it was and watched a friend
buy and sell with it I knew it wasn't for me.
This is a whole materialistic buying and selling frenzy which I'll just
pass on this lifetime.
It's like Gambling fever, only people are selling off everything they
own so they can buy other stuff and back again.
Give me Shutterbug any day. Or the LHSA white book filled with people
selling Leica stuff which I got another one of this week. Or better yet:
THE CAMERA STORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Give me real people, a glass counter that I can come back to a day later
and crash my defective camera down on it and yell:
THIS CAMERA DOESNT WORK I WANT TO SPEAK TO THE MANAGER OR BETTER YET
JUST GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK.
This phrase usually gets more instant results that you get when you are
stiffed across state or national lines. The FBI has no interest in it
unless someone has escaped jail with some shoe polish and a bar of soap.
Write a letter to the Shoppingmaster General.
