I'd go for the M6 instead of either of the above choices. You are gonna 
need a meter. The older cameras do not have one.  Also many times with 
older cameras they have not been serviced for 20 years or so and you'll 
spend more on them than a newer one.  If you do buy an old one try to 
find a recently serviced one. 

You can probably find a nice user M6 for $1200

I like my 35 f2 Summicron Aspherical. If price is an issue then go for an 
older Summicron.
