Fancesco: Mr. H. C.  Bresson felt the only lens one needed was the 50 mm. I
just read an article on the 50 f2 11817 formula, and this seems (to some any
way) to be the best 50 ever made (did I just start a war? of words!). I will be
making an M purchase latter this yr. and your question makes me think where
I'll start. If you can live with the thought of a zoom look at the 28-35-50
TRI-ELMAR-M ASPH. Its not a true zoom, I've heard good things about it.
