Subject: RE: [Leica] M5 in hand-held shooting

Hello M5 lovers,

I was beginning to think I was alone to love the M5. As far as I hate
it when I carry it in my bag, as far as I love it when I take it in
hands. Maybe Leica should maintain two lines of Ms. An even line (M4,
M6, M8) of traditional M3 based bodies and an odd (M5, M7) line with
some innovations in it (spot and matrix meter, speeds in the
viewfinder, 2 enlargements viewfinder that is 0.72 when you use a wide
angle, 0.85 with a 50 or longer lens, for example).

A question to Simon. You wrote :

Do you mean that Sherry makes a specific modification of the
viewfinder for the M5 or is it the Leica replacement of the Mx
viewfinder by the M6 one?

All the best.
