carl,

it should reset to -2. you then wind on three times to get to the first
frame. in the manual, if i recall, they tell you to fire the shutter once
*before* opening the camera and removing/changing the film, then, of
course, you would only wind on twice to get to the first frame. i've done
it both ways; it doesn't seem to make the slightest difference.
