Absolutely! Out here in the Sonoran Desert, ants in amber, pack 
rat midden and all manner of fossils are sold at big prices to 
collectors. This can really bother some paleontologists who see  
prime specimens end up in collectors hands rather than the 
scientific community. After all, they would USE the specimens.
