I too have noticed that there is a slight "unevenness" to the movement of
the shutter release button on my HM.  More so than on my older regular
(Wetzlar) M6.  Not enough to actually refer to it as a "catch", though.  I
have also noticed that if I press the button partway down, and then let go,
that the "unevenness" goes away, until I take the picture and recock the
shutter.

If and when I ever take the camera in to Kindermann for maintanence, if I
remember, I will bring this point up with them.
