Well, Bernard, we live in controversy, with or without me.....
You must be referring to someone else, tho...about the Leica
products.....I >HATE< pre-M Leicas....ain't crazy about
M3s....I like M2, 4, 4-2, 4-P, 6, etc........I think the Nikons
and Canons are better than pre-M Leicas....and I universally despise
Leica pre-summicron lenses....the ones that aren't scratched or
foggy (the few that still exist in clean/clear form) were shitty (even new)
compared to pre-war uncoated Zeiss....(hello, Mark Small)

So no, you must have the wrong guy...I'm an M-shooter, and EVERYBODY'S
friend........perhaps you refer to one of my other personalities....those
damn guys get on here day and night a piss everybody off....I hate it
when they call Leica folks names (conservative, elitist, doctor, you name it....)
But it certainly wasn't me......or me......or me......or me.........(that last
one was a girl, I think....)

Best to you and yours,
Walt
