Best Pizza

In May I was exploring WW1 battlefields around Verdun and stopped in a
small village to make a phone call and get lunch. I wandered into a
beautiful cafe that had "Pizza Forrestiere" which turned out to be a
paper thin crust, light tomato sauce, some white cheese and local wild
mushrooms under a Bernaise sauce. Never have I encountered such
magnificance under the name of Pizza. I had to stop in mid-meal and take
a photo of it to prove it was not a dream. If anyone expects to be in
that region I will find my map and get the name of the village and send
a digital image of the pizza. Madame, the proprietress, was unmoved by
my "magnifiques". What would an americaine know anyway?
