Thanks Dan.... I thought that maybe Leica pulled a "funnyt" and the lens
might only fit with a weird bayonet or something.....

Can you forward the contact info of the guy with the blank plates?

Frank, looking for a 90 F4.5 Focotar to put on a D2.

In a word- YES!
Leitz 'invented' the 39mm lens! Having had three Omega D-II enlargers, I can
tell you that there are lens plates to mount on the cones with holes from
25mm to 50mm, and if you want to contact me off list, I'll give you the
address of a guy who has blank lens plates or he'll make one with any size
hole you want!
