They say it is the short term memory that is the first to go :)

Patrick McNee was in the Avengers (with Emma Peel)
Patrick McGoohan was in Secret Agent Man (and the later series, The
Prisoner)

Neither one used a Leica, but McGoohan had a tape recorder built into a
Norelco shaver.
