Harrison-
The thought that the SCSI card might be at fault, but Bob's is an Adaptec,
and mine is a DTC and BOTH act weird.
After posting, I prevailed upon my friendly local Leica dealer to loan me a
Dual Scan, and it seems to be working perfectly on my system, so I am
beginning to suspect a bad scanner rather than a software or computer!
