Eric,

The collapsable cannot be a problem unless there is a huge leak. It
would affect the film only during the exposure since the film is covered
by the shutter at all other times.

I think you have a problem with the body.  Possibly the edge seals
between the shutter blinds and the body. The back is unlikely.
