The SL2's mirror has the same clearance as the R-cameras do.  Adding the
Leicaflex metering cams and putting an SL2 bayonet on the lens should make
it work on the SL2.  (The SL2 bayonet is similar to the Leicaflex & SL
bayonet but it can be used only on the SL2 and newer cameras.  Lenses with
the older Leicaflex and SL bayonet will fit on any Leica reflex body.)
