Are you going to stand up when you shoot with it? Most so called 35mm tripods
are a precarious place to put and shoot your camera at eye level. Eye level is a
long ways up. Do you really think you are going to use that tripod if you need
to slump over or crouch down to use it? It's why tripods don't get used.
A tripod designed to use a twice as heavy but waist level medium format camera
could be in my opinion ironically made much lighter than a eyelevel 35mm. 

How about that Tiltall? I hear they've fixed it up and are trying to sell them.
Classic for the Leica if you ask me!
