B&W processing chemistry has much more temperature tolerance than color
chemistry. I solve the temperature stability problem by processing at room
temperature ... just look up the appropriate dilution/temperature time on
the processing chart and use that. My apartment is nearly always within
the range from 68-78 degrees. Only the developer need be kept at anything
like a precise temperature, so if you have a problem there a large tub of
water to keep the processing tank in is all that's required.
