Hello Bernard,

I never understood why photo items are so expensive here. It's true for Japanese
brands (and F5 is $3,030) as well as Europeans. And it was true for Angénieux or
Semflex as well... go figure.

It is the same thing for a lot of products. Since the Open Market, more and more
French are buying French cars in Italy, Spain or Germany because they are 20%
cheaper than here.

At the opposite, computer hardware (but not software) is very affordable.
