Don,

The condenser has only one lens.  The plastic covered spring fits inside of the
condenser tube, and is held in place by a bayonet ring that fits on the bayonet
tube holding the condenser sleeve.  The function of the spring is to exert
pressure on the negative through the condenser to hold it flat on the negative
carrier.  The bottom of the condenser presses the negative to the carrier.  The
bayonet ring is pressed metal, and is just large enough to fit over the bayonet
tube and hold the spring in place.  It is black, of course.  You will need it.
Better search some more.  Who knows what you will find.  Sounds like fun!
