Well, Mark, you're right about the R6.2 versus the FM2, but the R8 is 
substantially heavier. Here is what their web pages say:

M6 - 580 grams
R6.2 - 625 grams
FM2 - 540 grams
R8 - 890 grams

I really find that hard to believe.  The M seems much lighter.  Maybe it's 
the SLR lenses that add so much weight.
For your questions - Leica doesn't make a 15 for the M.  I do use the 100 
macro with my R's - never have wanted anything longer (it gets heavier!)
